Proverbs 8:1

KJV 1 Doth not wisdom cry? and understanding put forth her voice?

These are my thoughts.

Wisdom compared to a woman looking or him. While we should be seeking out wisdom if we are following the Lord wisdom will be finding us as we go.

Proverbs 8:2
KJV 2 She standeth in the top of high places, by the way in the places of the paths.
UKJV 2 She stands in the top of high places, by the way in the places of the paths.

These are my thoughts.
We need to make sure we stand with the Lord more then any other thing.

Proverbs 8:3
KJV 3 She crieth at the gates, at the entry of the city, at the coming in at the doors.
UKJV 3 She cries at the gates, at the entry of the city, at the coming in at the doors.

These are my thoughts.
Are we crying out in the presence of the Lord or are we crying out to be in His presence?

KJV 4 Unto you, O men, I call; and my voice is to the sons of man.

Who do we call to man or do we cry out to God?

KJV 7 For my mouth shall speak truth; and wickedness is an abomination to my lips.
UKJV 7 For my mouth shall speak truth; and wickedness is an abomination to my lips.

These are my thoughts.
We should be sharing His truth and not be sharing wicked words.

Proverbs 8:8
KJV 8 All the words of my mouth are in righteousness; there is nothing froward or perverse in them.
UKJV 8 All the words of my mouth are in righteousness; there is nothing perverse or perverse in them.

We should be righteous and how we speak by speaking words that honor Him.
